Tap the orange Bored? Whim it button at the top of the feed. Pick a starter template or write from scratch. You need location turned on (WhiMate runs on real proximity — joining needs it too) and an Instagram handle on your profile (we use it as the trust signal for whoever responds).

Specific= you have an activity in mind (“ramen at Mensho 8pm”). People can accept directly or counter-propose.

Open= you're bored, anything goes. People send you suggestions and you pick one.

When you create a post, pick “Small group” or “Large group” under Group size, then set a capacity (e.g. 5 spots). Others tap “I'm in / Maybe / No”. Once you hit capacity, the hangout locks and a group chat opens for everyone in.

No — they clear automatically 24 hours after sending. WhiMateis for coordinating a meet-up, not building a chat history. If you need to exchange contact info, do it in the thread; you'll have it before messages disappear.

Your score (0-100) adds up from: Instagram present, vouches from people you've met, show-up streak, and show-up rate. Higher = more people will respond to your posts. Visible to anyone who matches with you.

Open their post or your thread → tap the 3-dot menu → Report. A moderator will review. You can also Block — their posts and messages disappear from your view immediately.

/profile/edit → scroll to Danger zone. Type your name to confirm. Deletes your profile, posts, matches, messages — everything. Can't be undone.
